The browser

All patches, samples and Loops are now in one place - in the new browser. Find the perfect sound by filtering by name, type, category and tag. Simply type in what you're looking for and the browser will immediately provide suggestions. You can also use the category and tag buttons to find the sound you are looking for.

All content in Reason is now categorized and tagged, so you can explore sounds in a whole new way. This includes all soundbanks, all devices from Reason Studios and all sound packs. Over 20 years of sound design are at your disposal to be used creatively.

Sequencer upgrade

The sequencer has been split into two sections. With the new edit section, you can easily get to grips with the details of your music without losing track of the arrangement. Together with several new workflow improvements, improved zoom, layout changes and easily accessible editing functions, the upgraded sequencer makes it possible to customize the sound of your music at any time.

Ripley Space Delay

Ripley combines Delay and Reverb with unique filter, noise and distortion effects. With extensive modulation options, you can create exactly the Delay you want - from clear taps and warm analog sounds to crazy lo-fi chirps or washed-out ambiences. Everything to add character and depth to your music.

Reason Tools

Three new devices that simplify everyday tasks and make your workflow smoother, so you spend less time doing boring things and more time making music. The Sidechain tool takes care of ducking signals, the gain tool gives you control over signal levels, and the Stereo tool is a stereo widener specifically designed to make a simple signal sound bigger and wider.
