The Roland TD-27 module is a professional sound engine module with 574 sounds and Bluetooth function. The Prismatic Sound Modeling function was adopted from the flagship TD-50. The TD-27 module supports the Roland digital pads, allowing high-resolution multi-sensor triggering on the snare and ride pads. Up to 500 custom WAV samples (24 minutes mono/12 minutes stereo) can be loaded into the module via an optional SD card. As with the TD-17, the Roland TD-27 module features a Bluetooth interface, which allows streaming directly to the module from your smartphone. Thanks to the PureAcoustic Ambience technology, the room sound can be digitally changed. In addition, an overhead microphone simulator and studio-quality effects are available for editing the drum sounds.
If you produce music professionally with a digital audio workstation, you can also use the Roland TD-27 module as a 28-channel USB audio interface. Two direct outputs create ideal conditions for live use, allowing you to add the snare and the kick separately into the mix. With the three additional trigger inputs, the e-drum Set can also be expanded. Of course, there is also an AUX IN and a headphone output as standard. Besides the dedicated MIDI inputs and outputs, MIDI data can also be transmitted via the USB connection to synchronize the kit with other MIDI devices
As an exclusive extra for Music Store customers, we offer the Roland V-Drum Set including an extra sound pack on SD card with high-quality drum samples, created and recorded by Toto drummer Simon Phillips himself. The high-resolution samples offer an enormous dynamic and can't be beaten in sound quality and expressiveness. With these characteristics, the Simon Phillips samples are a great addition to the internal sounds and enrich the sound range of the TD-50X module. The other sounds on the included SD card are an exclusive sound package from the exceptional German drummer Marco Minnemann, who now works as a musician in Los Angeles. In Europe, Marco Minnemann played with Paul Gilbert, Udo Lindenberg, Paddy Kelly, Terry Bozzio, Chad Wackerman, Wolfgang Schmid, Kreator, Mike Keneally and Nena. In the USA he worked with bands like "The Aristocrats", tours with Steve Wilson and Joe Satriani or the project "The Mute Gods" of Nick Beggs, the bass player and singer of the group "Kajagoogoo".
