Despite its compact size, the Mobile SoundGrid Server from Waves is an extremely practical and powerful solution for using high-end plug-ins during live performances or in the studio while mixing, and for saving computer resources. The server fits in just about any backpack and can be taken anywhere thanks to its rugged aluminum housing. However, those who prefer a fixed installation can mount it in any 19" rack with the help of optional rack ears.

On the technical side, the Mobile Server scores with its i5-6200 CPU and 4GB RAM. Compatibility is guaranteed with any SoundGrid audio interface, so you can easily build your setup - no matter if you prefer Mac or Windows computers. Impressive are the extremely low latencies of only ~0.8ms at a sample rate of 44.1 - 96kHz. The DSP unit is rounded off by Ethernet, HDMI and USB ports as well as an included external 12V 3A power supply.
