Zoom presents the F6, the first professional field recorder with 32-bit float recording and dual A/D converters for unprecedented dynamics. On board are a total of six inputs and 14 tracks that can be leveled in an integrated mixer, various options for power supply (4x type AA batteries, Sony L-series rechargeable battery or Zoom AD-17 12V AC power supply), various options for control via radio as well as a reliable time code output - in short: the F6 is a real secret weapon on set! The mic preamps deliver up to 75 dB gain and less than - 127 dBU, while the inputs can be switched to an additional 4 dB (with Mic/Line option). Equally handy and important is the built-in limiter with its Advanced Look-Ahead feature, as well as a control app called ZOOM F6 Control for iOS that allows wireless remote control, file naming and metadata entry.
