Musik-Software von IK Multimedia

The foundation for today's wide range of music tools was laid in the 1990s with the GrooveMaker software. IK Multimedia expanded the then innovative groove tool for loop-oriented music production with many sound and groove expansions, which today, as apps, provide thousands of tablet and smartphone users with access to intuitive music making with electronic sounds. Software instruments such as SampleTank are available with a large sound library for the audio computer and as a mobile app. Outstanding is the software instrument Miroslav Philharmonik - a high-quality orchestral library created in collaboration with jazz bassist Miroslav Vitous (Weather Report). In addition to the Amplitube and T-Racks plug-ins mentioned above, the Classic Studio Reverb should also be mentioned, which also offers excellent sound quality.

Hardware für Smartphones und Tablets

One area that IK Multimedia developed an unprecedented range of products serves the diverse need for accessories for smartphones and tablets. The highly successful iRig, which turns the iPhone into a virtual guitar amp studio, was followed by numerous products up to the iRing gesture controller. Playing guitar, playing keyboard, recording vocals with iOS and Android devices - no other manufacturer offers such a variety of clever software/hardware solutions for mobile music making.

Hardware-Controller von IK Multimedia

IK Multimedia plug-ins are popular because of their good sound quality and authentic imitation of vintage equipment. Analogue studio processors like the Fairchild Mastering Compressor or the many guitar amps from e.g. Marshall bring the sound of the hardware into the studio computer. Complete it all with a range of practical hardware controllers and interfaces that can be optimally matched to your software, such as the StealthPlug or the StompIO, designed for use with Amplitube. Home studio operators can use the ARC system to adapt their studio monitors to the acoustic conditions of their monitoring room.
