Roland set milestones in the development and construction of synthesizers with instruments such as the Jupiter-4, SH-06, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-101 or with digital synthesizers such as the legendary Roland D-50. The numerous sound modules of the JV series were standard equipment in every studio and keyboard setup in the 90s.
Roland instruments had the greatest influence on the techno music of the 1990s. Drummers and percussionists especially appreciate the V-Drum series, and guitarists get a variety of new sounds through the large selection of effect pedals and loopers like the RC-30. Not unmentioned are products like the Roland Jazz-Chorus JC-120 - then as now a sought-after guitar amplifier with an integrated high-quality chorus for clean sounds.
