Professional headset with active NoiseGard noise compensation
The Sennheiser HMDC 27 is a professional headset for broadcast, commentary and studio applications. Its closed, ear-enclosing design ensures optimum attenuation of external noise while still offering a high level of wearing comfort. The headset can be equipped either with a two-part headband or with the large head cushion included in the scope of delivery, which then holds the two headbands together as a single headband. The swivel microphone can be worn on either the right or left side. This is a high-quality dynamic microphone with hypercardioid characteristic and a frequency response of 40 Hz to 18 kHz.

In addition, the HMDC 27 is equipped with the switchable "Noise Gard" noise compensation, which not only increases speech intelligibility, but is also predestined for use in very noisy working environments, as ambient noise is suppressed even more effectively. The "NoiseGard" function is simply powered by the 48 V phantom power supply (no batteries required)!
Built-in hearing protection
The HMDC 27 is equipped with the switchable "ActiveGard" function, which protects the user from sudden level peaks by automatically compressing signals of over 110 dB.
