This pine was initially part of the Globe Grain Elevator building in Superior, Wisconsin for over 100 years before it was rescued when the building was demolished and used for instrument making. In combination with the screwed maple neck, this wood provides a particularly resonant sound with a lively sound response. The "Modern Deep C" profile offers a high playing comfort.

The pickups are controlled by a rectilinear circuit consisting of 3-way toggle, master volume and master tone controls.
