Garritan is launching the second instalment of ‘Convert & Marching Band’, presenting an expanded collection of authentic virtual instruments from the concert, wind and marching band genres. The sound library comprises an incredible number of instruments as well as 35 ensemble presets, whilst you always have the option to create your own ensembles . Whether brass bands, marching bands or instrument groups from an entire symphonic wind orchestra – there are no limits here. The ARIA engine – or player – provides greater flexibility , allowing you to switch between sound spaces and stages , thereby altering the sound. The engine is also highly efficient, as it loads all samples quickly and uses CPU resources sparingly. Furthermore, COMB2 supports all common formats on Mac and PC systems and can be run as a plug-in (VST, RTAS, OS X Audio Units) or as a standalone application. 64-bit mode is available on Windows.
