With the EVENT-X, Ketron introduces a cutting-edge arranger module that not only offers a comprehensive range of sounds, but also top entertainer features. Created for solo entertainers, bands, performers, solo artists and songwriters, the keyboard is loaded with cutting-edge features that make making music and working on the instrument a true joy.
As a desktop version, the X version of the EVENT turns out to be much more compact and is primarily aimed at musicians who are already well-equipped with keyboards and/or have an eye on space requirements. The 216-voice polyphony is distributed over all parts and is sufficiently high even in dense arrangements so that no note breaks off prematurely.
Another highlight of the EVENT-X are the two independent players, which can play and output MIDI files, MP3, WAV, TXT, PDF, MP4 and other formats in any combination. This allows mixing and synchronized playback of two different music and even image formats. This is useful for a professionally accompanied karaoke evening, for example, when the song lyrics are played in parallel with the MIDI file and this is to be displayed on a TV via the HDMI output.
In its capacity as an arranger module, the Ketron EVENT-X is well equipped. Hardly any genre is left out and the combination possibilities during live playing as well as with prepared titles is simply enormous! The 2.5GB sound memory provides a selection of over 1280 high-quality tones and 62 percussion sets that are ideally suited for various styles such as rock, pop, schlager, folk or evergreens. In addition, there are numerous memory locations for self-created sounds. The nine drawbars of the organ section can be accessed via the touch screen. To give the sounds the final touch, Ketron has pulled out all the stops and given the EVENT-X several effect variants for delay, reverb, distortion and various modulation effects (including chorus, flanger, phaser). In addition, the two microphone inputs are equipped with a three-voicevocal harmonizer (Voicetron), so that even sung choirs and backgrounds can be created in no time at all. The integrated audio mixer allows detailed settings for each track and even includes the different players.
The large 7" touchscreen is the central operating element of the keyboard. In razor-sharp image quality, the touchscreen provides access to all functions and features and also ensures practical handling thanks to structured menu navigation. Numerous dedicated buttons take the shortest route to various function areas, which makes navigating through the menu even easier.
The backlit faders below the touchscreen are absolutely performance-capable and can be switched for numerous tasks. With them you have direct access to the drawbars of the virtual organ, the mixer section or the equalizer at the touch of a button.
