The Yamaha LL 16 D ARE Black acoustic guitar in original jumbo size offers versatile use and luxurious playing comfort thanks to its outstanding quality and functionality. Composed of the finest materials, the instrument also produces an exceptionally defined sound that unfolds quickly and completely. Last but not least, the Yamaha LL 16 D ARE owes its unique dynamics to an A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) treatment of the top wood, which optimizes the molecular structure of the material with regard to its acoustic properties. The instrument is refined by detailed inlays of abalone and a wafer-thin high-gloss finish. A sturdy hard bag is included in the scope of delivery.
To produce powerful bass, defined midrange and fine treble frequencies, the manufacturer relies on a construction consisting of an Engelmann spruce top and a rosewood body. Combined with the original jumbo size, the full-bodied acoustic guitar produces every note with a fast response and lets it decay long-lasting. A 5-piece neck made of mahogany and rosewood with a flat profile allows the player perfect access to all 20 frets, which are set into an ebony fretboard. This allows even extensive fingering patterns to be mastered with ease and courtesy.
The characteristic headstock is equipped with gold-coloured die-cast tuners, which give the overall appearance a high-quality touch and guarantee precise tuning of the 6 steel strings, which end in a bridge made of ebony. The top wood is bordered by a multi-ply binding of abalone and maple, which creates a tasteful transition to the tonewood of the rib. The LL 16D ARE is completed by a passive SRT Piezo pickup system, which also amplifies the acoustic sound for authentic reproduction.
