The EVH MIJ Wolfgang Signature EB Stealth is fully equipped with original Eddie Van Halen ideas and specifications, making this Japanese-made signature electric guitar an absolutely versatile-sounding talent. Designed would be the MIJ Wolfgang Signature for optimal playing characteristics and handling, which is proven not only by the bolt-on maple neck with the typical Wolfgang backshape. Among other things, its equipment includes two Wolfgang humbuckers, Floyd Rose Locking tremolo and kill switch.

For the construction of the EVH Wolfgang Special Eddie van Halen relies on proven ingredients for a rock guitar

High-quality workmanship for the best possible playing characteristics

Prerequisite for easy handling and fast playability of the MIJ Wolfgang is the processing of the tonewoods according to Eddie Van Halen's own specifications. The lime body has a maple top and is bound with 5-ply binding. The Wolfgang signature maple neck has a satin urethane finish and fits comfortably in the hand with ebony fingerboard and 12" to 16" increasing compound radius. Rounding out the electric guitar is its Matte Satin finish in deep black stealth and dot inlays between the 22 Vintage frets, which are protected against any climate-related expansion by graphite reinforcement of the neck.

Wolfgang Humbucker and special pots

The electrical tone conversion of the EVH Wolfang is handled by two EVH Wolfgang humbuckers. With their hot output and balanced reproduction across all frequencies, these pickups deliver a fat rock sound that makes every solo sing with endless sustain. At the same time, the precise attack and perfect string separation make for a tight rhythm sound, and zebra pickup covers provide a stark contrast. The pickups are controlled via a 3-way toggle switch as well as general volume and tone controls that have different rotary resistances. For example, the extra-smooth Volume pot allows for smooth tone adjustments, while the slower Tone pot can prevent unwanted adjustments.

Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo

Via precision die-cast tuners on the signature EVH Wolfgang headstock, the six strings run through a Floyd Rose R2 Locking nut for optimal tonal stability with any use of the Floyd Rose FRT O1000 locking tremolo. The EVH D-Tuna allows easy adjustment of the low E string for drop tunings without Vibrato complications. For stuttering rhythm effects, the built-in kill switch can be used.
