Why do I need a subwoofer?
Compact bass extension for your studio
ADAM Audio presents the T10S, a compact yet powerful active 10-inch subwoofer, specifically tuned to complement the popular T-Series speakers. It features a 130-watt Class D amplifier, whose frequency response ranges from 28 Hz to 120 Hz (@-6 dB), whilst an adjustable low-pass filter allows the bass signal to be tailored to the monitors, thereby ensuring optimal reproduction from the entire system. Although the subwoofer has been optimised in terms of power, features and connectivity for ADAM Audio’s T5V and T7V near-field monitors, it still delivers outstanding results with other compact studio speakers.
2-year warranty with an optional 3-year extension upon product registration!

It's a relatively compact subwoofer with an excellent sound quality if you do not play it very loud. The appearance and build quality are fine. The box does not give an impression of a very heavily built professional product. But it's good enough to do the job. I didn't find any shortcomings in build quality. The resonances of the box that you can hear while knocking it do not show up during operation in any way. I was specially pleased with the rubber feet that isolate the box from the floor. Loud playback with long speaker cone excursion is out of the capabilities of this product. Distortion start to show up gradually when you play back a very loud signal and on low frequencies (40 Hz and below). You should not expect to feel the punch with your body and the whole room vibrating. It won't play that loud. Additionally it can't go really lower than 30 Hz. It rolls off rapidly below that. It's just a 10" driver. But above 30Hz it has a very pleasing flat amplitude response with low distortion. When used on moderate volume T10S shines! The sound quality is excellent!
