With the Epiphone SG Tribute Plus Cherry Burst, guitar maker Epiphone presents a particularly interesting interpretation of the famous electric guitar with the devil horns, which is aimed specifically at beginners and advanced players. The instrument in the licensed double-cut design has true-to-original dimensions and provides a long-established SG feeling from headstock to neck heel. The slim taper mahogany neck in combination with a 22 fret Laurel fingerboard forms the ideal basis for secure chord fingering and precise layering. From a tonal point of view, two Epiphone 650R and 700T humbuckers in the neck and bridge position provide appropriate sounds between defined cleans and steamy rock sounds. The Epiphone SG Tribute Plus Cherry Burst is completed by the successful combination of LockTone Tune-o-Matic bridge and Stopbar as well as six tuning-stable die-cast tuners.
