At the core of the VX5 lies the legendary Auto-Tune® algorithm, used on countless chart-topping productions. With its Retune Speed and Humanize controls, the effect can be tailored to any performance – from transparent pitch correction to the distinct, modern vocal sound heard in contemporary pop and hip-hop.

The 1.8" color display and clearly structured interface make the VX5 effortless to navigate. Presets can be created, saved, and switched in seconds using the dual footswitches, ideal for quick adjustments during live shows. The Talk Mode function instantly disables all effects, allowing direct communication with your audience at the touch of a button.

Creative effects and intelligent harmonies

Beyond pitch correction, the VX5 includes a full suite of professional-grade effects, such as reverb, delay, chorus, compression, and Flavor FX, enabling a complete, polished vocal mix directly from the pedal.

A standout feature is the Intelligent Harmony mode, which automatically creates polyphonic harmonies based on the song’s key or the chords played on a connected guitar or keyboard. This turns a single vocal into a lush multi-voice arrangement in seconds – a perfect tool for solo performers, singer-songwriters, or live looping artists.

Maximum flexibility and connectivity for stage and studio

The Headrush VX5 not only impresses with its creative effects and intuitive operation, but also with its impressive versatility, which makes it the ideal companion on stage and in the studio. Thanks to its function as a fully-fledged USB audio interface, you can record vocals directly into your DAW - without any additional equipment. MIDI support via USB also opens up new possibilities: Preset changes, effect controls or complex automations can be conveniently integrated into your live or production setup.

With up to 250 storable presets, you have a huge sound palette at your disposal, and the two robust footswitches ensure intuitive control during the performance. The high-quality microphone preamp with switchable +48V phantom power delivers excellent audio quality for any microphone type, while the ground lift switch on the XLR output reliably prevents unwanted hum loops.

The VX5 also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of connectivity. Both dynamic and condenser microphones can be connected directly via the XLR microphone input. A guitar input allows instrumentalists to integrate the pedal perfectly into their setup and control the Harmony mode via played chords, for example. The guitar signal can be routed directly to an amplifier or monitor via the guitar thru output. The balanced XLR main output makes connecting to a mixing console or PA system child's play, while a headphone output enables quiet practicing or monitoring. Finally, the USB port turns the VX5 into a central hub for audio and MIDI data - perfect for modern production environments and flexible live setups.
