In a strictly limited edition, Paul Reed Smith presents the PRS CE 24 Special Faded Gray Black, a special version of the famous Classic Electric that offers additional tonal options beyond the standard model. The electric guitar from the bolt on series follows the well known design with a maple bolt on neck in a slim Pattern Thin profile and features a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard, allowing for two full octaves per string. The CE 24 Special owes its impressive tonal versatility to its HSH pickup configuration, consisting of two 85/15 humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions and an NS 01 single coil in the middle. Both humbuckers can also be switched to coil split mode using the push pull function on the tone control, making airy single coil sounds possible at both the neck and bridge positions. The PRS CE 24 Special Faded Gray Black is completed with high quality in house hardware, including a PRS Patented Tremolo and six PRS Phase Three tuners with a convenient locking function. The package also includes a premium gig bag.
