For the construction of the Gretsch G6228 Players Edition Jet, Gretsch relies on a mahogany body whose generous resonance chambers characterize the sound with a rich mid-range spectrum and an even Attack. The chambers are also closed off by a laminated maple top. The glued mahogany neck with its "Standard U" profile offers furthermore optimum playing characteristics across the entire ebony fingerboard.
Two Gretsch Broad'Tron BT65 humbuckers deliver first-class blues and rock sounds on the guitar amplifier, with versatile timbres available via the Gretsch circuitry.
