Access, cooling and operation

The xMac mini (2024+) 2U rackmount system provides separate front power buttons for each Mac mini as well as direct access to all connections. A USB-C port connects to the rear Mac mini, while a cable pass-through on the front ensures easy access to connections for both systems.

Thanks to its open design with optimized airflow, the Mac minis stay cool in the rack and perform just as efficiently as they do on the desk. Ventilation openings at the front and an open rear section prevent heat buildup, ensuring consistent full performance.

Expandable and versatile - space for PCIe cards and SSDs

The housing offers space for two external Thunderbolt or USB SSDs, which can be securely accommodated under the Mac minis. Thanks to its modular design, the system can also be expanded later with Thunderbolt or PCIe expansion modules - for example with the Echo III or Echo II DV module - and is therefore ideal for professional audio or video cards such as Avid Pro Tools | HDX or Blackmagic solutions. Alternatively, an additional module for up to two Mac minis can be integrated so that a total of four Mac minis can be accommodated in the rackmount system.

Mobile and robust

Thanks to its solid steel construction and rubber-padded brackets, the xMac mini (2024+) 2U rackmount system is also optimally protected when traveling. With an installation depth of just 16.5 inches, the system fits into standard flight cases and mobile racks and can also be easily integrated into standard server racks up to 24 inches deep thanks to the adjustable rack rails supplied

One connection, many possibilities

A single power cable supplies one or two Mac minis simultaneously - this saves space and simplifies the setup considerably. All modules can be detached via two knurled screws on the back, so that Mac minis and expansion cards are easily accessible from the front.
