Thanks to its versatility, the Tech21 SansAmp Bass Driver DI has earned a permanent spot on countless bassists’ pedalboards for more than 25 years. It’s the ultimate all-rounder for stage, studio, rehearsal rooms, or in front of your own bass amp or power amp. Whether used as a preamp or a direct recording tool into a mixer or audio interface, this compact box delivers everything from clean slap tones to gritty, overdriven sounds. Signal output is available via a standard 1/4" effects jack, balanced XLR, or a parallel 1/4" output that mirrors the input signal.
The SansAmp Bass Driver DI V2 brings even greater tonal flexibility, especially for players using 5- or 6-string basses. A new midrange control allows fine-tuning at two selectable frequencies (500 Hz or 1 kHz), while the bass control can now be set to boost either 40 Hz or 80 Hz for precise low-end shaping. Last but not least, the Bass Driver DI V2 supports phantom power and includes a Ground Connect switch for improved setup flexibility in live or studio environments.

Tech 21 SansAmp Bass Driver DI 30th Anniversary Limited Edition
This pedal can really transform your sound. It can really get you to "that sound" in your head. The only thing that I wish this pedal had was a middle detent for the knobs to get a precise setting. But this is no big deal as setting the knob to the noon position is practically the exact noon setting. Great pedal overall!
