I bought these strings because I needed something that would sound good enough, without spending too much. I got them to string the guitar I use for teaching (it only gets played a bit, in the lessons). The tone is clear and round. They are more than good enough for this purpose.
Augustine continue to maintain the highest standards I discovered as a student of the classical guitar.Forty years later I'm still a student of the guitar and Augustine still make the best strings. Fantastic strings at a brilliant price point. Well done
