As part of the Kramer Modern Collection, the Kramer Striker Figured HSS FR Wild Ivy impresses with first-class playing characteristics and multi-faceted rock sounds at an enticing price-performance ratio. Inspired by the shredding axes of the Eighties, the Striker's wide-cut
The Striker HSS guitar's slim design invites virtuoso shredding and riffing on the 24-fret maple fingerboard with agile playing characteristics. The flat "K-Speed SlimTaper C" profile of the bolt-on maple neck fits comfortably in the hand and with 41.3 mm nut width offers plenty of room for precise finger placement. Wide cutaways and a rounded neck foot on the mahogany body also promise unhindered access to the highest registers. An upscale AAA quality curly maple veneer also gives the guitar an elegant look.
At the guitar amp, the Striker HSS delivers versatile rock and metal sounds with its namesake pickup setup of two single coils and a bridge humbucker. In neck and middle position, Kramer SC-1 single coils with Alnico V magnets provide transparent tones that not only showcase clean sounds perfectly, but also make distorted solos sing. The powerful HB-1 Alnico V humbucker on the bridge, on the other hand, puts the amp under steam and promises burning distortion sounds. A 5-way switch and general volume and tone pots also grant full control over the pickups of the Kramer Striker guitar.
Last but not least, Kramer equips the Striker Figured HSS FR Wild Ivy electric guitar with a licensed Floyd Rose tremolo. The double-locking design guarantees unshakable tuning stability even after advanced lead techniques like dive-bombs and squeals. On the headstock, Kramer die-cast tuners also bring the guitar into tune quickly and precisely after a string change.
