Structure and sound

The concert ukulele is the next largest variant after the soprano ukulele and therefore has a more voluminous soundbox, which produces a slightly deeper sound. In addition, the white ebony body provides a very balanced sound, to which the solid spruce top adds a clear note with brilliant highs. A scalloped cutaway not only grants unobstructed access to the higher registers but also takes away the least possible assertiveness from the sound due to its smaller cutaway in addition. Graph-Tech ratio friction tuners, meanwhile, keep tuning stable.
