Rode NT2-A Studio SolutionThis mic is a beast! Great for vocals, any type of vocals! Just throw some words at it and you'll notice that the sound it's true to the source. The body is robust and beatifully contructed and the shock mount is trusty with a secure fit. The cable and pop filter are really a bonus not to be neglected and always worthy with fair quality.
The diversity of patterns really works in many situations. Vocals and instruments, acoustic or electric, you name it! The sound is transparent and true thanks to it's dynamic range with pro levels seen only in bigger boys on the market. Maybe a little thin on the low end but that can be good in some situations. Couple it with a good tube pre and you'll see what I mean! I've used it in many situations and configurations and wouldn't have to guess if I needed to buy another mic. The price is shocking! With this quality in performance and construction, the results are obvious. I wanted to know if all the fuss on the internet about this mic was true and everyone was right on the spot. If I had to give an advice on a low mid budget mic I'd say "don't search further - this is the one"!
It's a great mic.
Without having much previous experience in recording vocals, i started using it and i already get a crystal clear powerful voice. I believe it's one of the best buys out there, the quality of the recording will reward you for choosing it.
At first i opted for NT-1A which is a solid buy too, but for 100 euro more you get much better results, and this is what counts in the end.
Wow simply Wow as soon as I opend the packinging I was blown away, I was stunned by the quality of the packaging, the accessories included and the quality of the Microphone it'self. It is a thing of beauty. I quickly connected it up to my mixer and tried it out, I was totally blown away at the sound it reproduced of my voice and the way it can hear everything, so much so that I have to add a load more acoustic tiles now! Simply put I Love this Microphone and would highly reccoment it!

I use my NT2-A as the main microphone , not using any musical instruments,I have some rack gear which is connected to my amateur radio equipment the audio reports so far are very good although I have only been using it a short time the comments are the ones I want to hear thanks again for the service and the of course the microphone.
