Sound is good, if requiring a little eq tweaking. Pickup pattern seems pretty good, you've got to lean into the foldback a little to get it to squeal but I've yet to try it at a gig with a lot of background noise and I have a suspicion from performance so far that it may pick up cymbal crash and feed, so drummers may want to go to the PA via an eq pedal or noise gate.
We bought it for our keyboard player and, even on her below-average sized head (whilst still within the bounds of normality...) it's quite tight and I think would give you a headache after a couple of hours. On and off, for backing vocals, I think it's probably OK, might need a little modification for comfort for drummers and anyone else who can't take it off for hours.
For lead vocals, I think you might struggle to get the vocals to properly cut through.
