The Zen Quadro SC sets new standards in modern audio interface technology by combining high-quality components at an affordable price in a portable, bus-powered format. By utilising AD/DA converter chips from Antelope Audio’s flagship Galaxy series and console-grade discrete preamps with 75 dB of gain, the Zen Quadro delivers uncompromising sound quality, as valued by leading recording studios worldwide.
Synergy Core real-time effects processing and advanced standalone functionality are just some of the additional features, whilst the innovative dual-USB design enables simultaneous playback and recording on two systems – a clear choice for aspiring producers, musicians and streamers looking to enhance their production setup.
The Zen Quadro Synergy Core features state-of-the-art converters with up to 130 dB dynamic range at 24-bit/192 kHz, outperforming devices that cost many times as much. Combined with Antelope Audio’s proprietary 64-bit AFC™ clocking technology, the interface delivers outstanding depth of detail in your recordings and a wider soundstage for an exceptional stereo image during audio playback – enabling you to make the best decisions for your mix.
The Zen Quadro’s four discrete preamps feature a 6-transistor topology inspired by British and American analogue console designs of the 1980s and 1990s, offering maximum noise reduction and precise sound capture. With extremely low noise and up to 75 dB of gain, the Zen Quadro can handle even the quietest dynamic and ribbon microphones.

Antelope Audio combines DSP with FPGA chips to model every single component of the analogue hardware. This ensures sound and behaviour that are virtually indistinguishable from the real thing – with near-zero latency and no strain on your computer’s CPU.
The Zen Quadro comes with 37 legendary compressors, EQs, guitar amps and cabinets, modulation effects and more, which can be applied in real time whilst recording, streaming or performing live. Up to 48 monophonic effect instances can be loaded simultaneously across 6 input chains, bringing the power of a complex multi-rack setup to your desktop.
You can expand your collection at any time with additional real-time effects such as Antares’ Auto-Tune Synergy and Grove Hill’s Liverpool, which are available as add-on purchases.
The Zen Quadro’s dual USB-C ports open up a whole new world of possibilities for creators of all kinds. You can freely route signals and create mixes between the two USB connections by using Mac, PC, iOS (USB-C) or Android devices together. The handy loopback function is ideal for streaming, and the secondary port can charge your mobile device whilst the primary port supplies power to the Zen Quadro.
Take the studio on tour with a bus-powered USB-C connection and a robust metal casing. With full standalone operation, you can easily access routing and mixer controls via the colour display and recall settings and real-time effect chains, making it ideal for live performances. The secondary USB-C port even enables collaboration between live duos using two computers on stage!
Four mic/line inputs, two instrument inputs, an ADAT input and S/PDIF I/O are available, allowing you to record up to 14 inputs simultaneously. In addition to the monitor outputs, you also get an extra pair of line-outs to connect a second pair of speakers or use them for external processing. The second headphone output features an independent mixer, allowing two people to listen to different cue mixes simultaneously. The DC-coupled inputs and outputs can also send and receive control voltage (CV) signals, allowing the Zen Quadro to form part of a modular synthesiser setup.
