The Golden Age Project PREQ-73 Premier is a vintage-styleone-channel mic, line and instrumentpreamp with a 3-band equalizer with an induction-based midrange that provides smooth and effective sound shaping. The signal path uses only discrete components. The microphone and line input as well as the line output are transformer-balanced and use three different transformers, each optimized for its purpose.
The circuitry used in the PREQ-73 Premier is similar to the preamp and equalizer section in the classic 1073 module with a corresponding sonic character that is warm, punchy, sweet and musical.
