Classic recording headphones with new features
The beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro X is the consistently improved and extended version of the DT 770 Pro closed headphones. With the Stellar.45 drivers of the higher-priced Pro X series, the sound quality of the classic has been improved enormously and an increase in signal fidelity has been achieved. The DT 770 Pro X impresses all round with a powerful Bass and a high resolution right up to the upper end of the audible frequency spectrum. By improving the bass response, the DT 770 Pro X is even better able to meet modern listening expectations for professional sound than the classic model. In addition, the now detachable cable significantly increases ease of use. Thanks to the well-dosed contact pressure and the soft velour padding, an optimum compromise between shielding from ambient noise and wearing comfort has been achieved. Another new feature is a recess in the headband, which avoids particularly pressure-sensitive areas on the head seam and thus further increases wearing comfort.

Together with the round and pleasant sound image typical of beyerdynamic headphones, nothing stands in the way of fatigue-free listening over many hours. These closed-back headphones are an excellent choice for professional recording sessions and undisturbed editing. Thanks to the high efficiency of the modern drivers with low impedance, the headphones can be used with the headphone outputs of any mobile device, laptop or audio interface, but still benefit from the quality of a good headphone amplifier.
HEADPHONE LAB compatible
HEADPHONE LAB is free software from beyerdynamic that was developed specifically for DT Studio headphones and makes mixing and mastering much more reliable. The plugin calibrates the frequency response of the respective DT model to a neutral, studio-compatible target and supplements the whole thing with a realistic speaker simulation so that working with headphones feels more like listening to good monitors. There are two calibration modes available: a standard calibration based on a reference model and, for selected DT headphones, a factory calibration that uses the individual measurement data of your specific headphones. This allows for more precise assessment of stereo imaging, phantom center, and depth gradation, even in rooms without perfect acoustics or when on the go.
