The plugin that makes static mixes superfluous
With Transit2, Baby Audio and Andrew Huang present an effects plugin that breathes life into your Mix. The second Generation of the popular motion designer offers you six flexible control modes for dynamic transitions, modulation effects and automated sound sequences. Take control of up to seven effect modules simultaneously and transform any static production into a pulsating work of sound art.
Intelligent motion design with just one macro button
At the heart of Transit 2 is the large macro knob, which allows you to control all dynamically assigned parameters together. Whether you want to create complex filter sweeps, smooth delays or dramatic build-ups, you can bring multiple effects into action simultaneously with a single movement. Each module can respond individually to start and end values, even with adjustable waveforms, to create exactly the movement you want.
Six modes for limitless creativity
Transit 2 sets itself apart from conventional multi-FX plug-ins with its new transition modes. In addition to the classic macro mode, the following creative control options are available:
LFO: Synchronize modulated parameters with waveforms for rhythmic effects.
Follower: Let effects react to the volume fluctuations of the input signal.
Sidechain: Use external signals as triggers for modulation - ideal for creative ducking effects.
Gate: Activate transitions manually or via MIDI, e.g. Live on stage.
Sequencer: Plan precise transitions in the grid of your DAW - perfect for precisely timed automations.
28 high-quality effects - modular and radically versatile
Transit 2 contains a total of 28 FX modules, including ten completely new effects such as:
Loop: For repetitive, stuttering effects with variable slice length
Reverser: Reverse effects with adjustable speed and smoothing
Warp: Independent control of Pitch and playback speed in tape style
Retroverb: Grainy vintage reverb in the style of early digital devices
Speaker&AnalogChorus: Authentic LoFi sound and wide stereo image
Whether distortion, filter, bitcrusher or OTT compression - each module delivers a modern sound with great sonic depth and character.
Live, studio and sound design - Transit 2 is at home everywhere
Whether you want to realize transitions between song parts in the studio, give your live sets more energy or simply develop new sound textures - Transit 2 offers the tools you need. Thanks to its intuitive interface, MIDI control and 838 presets from renowned sound designers such as Andrew Huang, Solidtrax and Zardonic, it's just as easy to get started as it is to create advanced automation.
