The ESP E-II Alexi Ripped is one of the last instruments that the string magician from Finland, who died much too young, designed together with the Japanese guitar company and is also the first Laiho Signature with two pickups. The Signature guitar comes in the typical SV design in a beautiful purple fade Finish with ripped pinstripes and convinces with excellent playing characteristics for light-fast solos. A passive EMG H2 humbucker in bridge position and the EMG S2 Single Coil together with the ESP MM-04 Boost promise a flexible sound that ranges from sparkling cleans to offensive high gain Distortion. As a true shredder guitar the E-II Alexi Ripped naturally is completed by an original Floyd Rose Double-Locking Tremolo.
The E-II Alexi Ripped is based on Alexi Laiho's preferred SV design and offers excellent playing characteristics for virtuoso shredding in all positions. The Thin-U profile maple through-neck fits comfortably in the hand and promises agile handling of the 24-fret ebony fingerboard, which also features scalloping from the 19th fret. To ensure that every note is hit safely even in poor stage lighting, not only large Sawtooth inlays mark the positions, but alsofluorescent side dots. In addition, alder body wings complete the electric guitar.
