I have two of these, bought as backup or emergency replacement. Organizing debates I had the chance to test them thoroughly against the Shure SM58 and an older AKG. The results? The disadvantage is that they sound "warmer" compared to the SM58 (so not neutral), but for the rest, they have weight, have limited handling noises have a clear sound... Actually they are almost as good as the SM58, even with gain before feedback. But at a fifth of the price... They are definately better compared to my AKG, on almost all aspects, certainly feedback.
For the price, this is great deal. Metal construction. Clear sound. Low noise floor. Pop-filter. Case. There is many comparisons to Shure Sm58, and to be honest - the difference is not that much. I always recommend this mic for rehearsal and home studios.
I've worked professionally with everything from Neuman km184s and U87s, Shure sm57 and 58s and many in between, this is a very good mic, for what? 15 euros! great for vocals or acoustic guitar especially.
This microphone is a great option for home studio. Well suited for outdoor events where a high risk of mechanical damage. The low price makes it possible not so much worry in the event of damage, you can just buy another one))
