At first glance the DIF-1S may seem pretty basic and maybe even a bit boring. In a world of “super mixers” like the Traktor Z2 and the Rane Sixty-Two it’s quite easy to overlook the DIF-1S because of it’s simplicity but trust me, this thing is a beast! I mean the 1S did not steal the show at NAMM for nothing! By now you are probably wondering what makes this mixer so dope right!?! Well check out the hardware for your self.

To be honest the specifications are nice and all but let me keep it real by saying for the price you wont find a doper mixer straight up. I personally had the pleasure of skratching on the DIF-1S at NAMM and I was instantly impressed. The build quality is rock solid, the Innofader Mini’s are razor sharp and butter smooth and the sound quality is more than up to par for Skratch sessions and even playing out live. The 1S is a solid piece that every DJ, Turntablist and Shred head should own in their collection. If you are looking for a backup mixer, a dedicated piece for skratch sessions, or maybe you are just starting out and need something to get ya feet wet, this mixer really has something for everyone. So maybe the 1S does not have professional audio outs or even an onboard DVS, So what!?!? Say what you will but the DIF-1S is a truly a game changer!!
