The A-119-2 Dual External Input / Amplifier from Doepfer is a narrow 4HP preamplifier that brings the line level including smartphones up to Eurorack level. The module offers two separate mono channels that can be used to feed external signals such as eg. The module offers two separate mono channels that amplify external signals such as drum machines, samplers, groove boxes or playback devices up to 45 times and thus prepare them for the higher Eurorack level. The inputs and outputs are equipped with standard 3.5mm jack sockets. The A-119-2 is an efficient module for feeding a weak digital synth into the modular system. By patching the channels in series, a significantly higher signal amplification can be achieved.
