The X-SUB 112SA is an active 12″ bass-reflex subwoofer with DSP and a Class D amplifier. With a frequency response of 48 to 120 Hz and a maximum sound pressure level of 133 dB peak in a half-space, it is ideal for powerfully extending active sound reinforcement systems and, in particular, as a complement to the X-LITE and X-PRO series.
Powerful 12″ subwoofer
The 12″ woofer with a 2.5″ voice coil is driven by a Class D amplifier delivering 1,200 W RMS. Four DSP presets allow you to choose between the ‘Original’ and ‘Punch’ settings, as well as crossover frequencies of 80 and 120 Hz. Whilst ‘Original’ is designed as a universal default setting, ‘Punch’ offers a drier bass response with greater energy for rock music and high-sound-pressure-level applications.
Phase reversal at 0° and 180° helps to match the system to the connected satellite speakers. The overall level can be adjusted via the LEV rotary control, whilst the PRT/LMT indicator shows when the protection and limiter circuits are engaged.
Flexible connections and robust housing
Two combo sockets are provided for signal input. Two XLR Link outputs allow the input signals to be passed through, whilst two high-pass filtered XLR outputs are provided for connecting active satellite speakers.
The 15 mm thick birch multiplex cabinet features a scratch-resistant black finish, two aluminium handles and an M20 thread for mounting a spacer bar. Measuring 385 × 500 × 485 mm (W × H × D) and weighing 23.5 kg, the X-SUB 112SA remains compact and easy to transport.
