The Fame Handpan Three D-Kurd 10 Notes is a hand-tuned stainless steel handpan in a striking Aztec Gold finish, tuned to D minor at 440 Hz. Compared to the “One” model, the “Three” includes an additional high C5 in the upper register, allowing for a broader range and richer harmonic possibilities making it ideal for playing complex chords and melodic patterns. Played with the fingers by striking its individually tuned tone fields, the Fame handpan produces a powerful yet balanced tone with a meditative character. With a 22" (54 cm) diameter, it rests comfortably on the lap for relaxed playing. This D-Kurd model includes the following tones: D / A / Bb / C / D / E / F / G / A / C. The soothing, resonant sound makes it well-suited for meditation, sound therapy, or ambient performance. The Fame Handpan Bag PRO – a professional backpack-style carrying case – is included for secure storage and easy transport.
At the heart of the handpan lies the central fundamental note, encircled by a ring of carefully tuned tone fields. Each playing surface is shaped under controlled pressure and hand-tuned to 440 Hz. When tapped lightly with the fingers, the entire handpan resonates, creating a smooth, spherical tone with a long, singing sustain.
Every Fame handpan undergoes strict quality control for both sound and craftsmanship by experienced handpan specialists at the production site. As each instrument is individually handmade, slight color variations from the product image may occur.

Fame Handpan Three D-Kurd 10 NotesAt a more affordable price than most handpans its good for those with lower budgets and interested beginners however the quality is excellent so shouldn't put off professional players either. Comes with a good bag, one review mentioned the shoulder straps were too short to wear as a rucksack however I found it fits fine and at 6" reckon it would fit most people fine. Overall a great product.
As a person who has played percussion foe 32 years this is a beautiful made instrument with very hipnotic sounds, once you start playing either tunes or rtythms you, ll never want to put it down.
The sound and tone is excellent, very easy to pick up and play quickly without prior experience.
I picked it up very quickly, looks beautiful also. The only knock is the back pack carry case it comes with, the back straps are not long enough to be at all useable, you can't actually use it and have to hold the handle to carry it. Apart from that, all excellent, there were a few slight marks to the finish, but overal that makes no difference to the tone
