The Fender 1959 Relic Precision Bass RW Black from the Fender Custom Shop convinces as an authentic reproduction of the legendary electric bass with historically correct equipment and classic Vintage sound. Accordingly, the 1959 Relic Precision is equipped with a split coil pickup for the classic bass tone, while the alder body and maple neck are screwed together.
Under the artificially aged nitrocellulose lacquer of the Fender Custom Shop 1959 Relic Precision Bass hides a traditionally built electric bass. For example, the body is joined from two parts of particularly light alder, while the maple neck is fastened with the screw connection established by Leo Fender at the beginning of the 1950s. With its strong "Oval C" profile, the neck offers a pleasant grip even with a powerful playing style, so that between the 20 frets of the rosewood fingerboard, any groove can be easily played.

The 1959 Relic Precision Fender Custom Shop is factory-fitted with a split coil pickup that delivers the legendary preci sound to the bass of the amplifier. With full basses, the characteristic growl in the low ranges and transparent highs, he lays the foundation for classical rock, funk and blues bands, while the lively dynamics enable expressive electric bass playing. The delivery also includes a Fender custom shop single coil pickup for exchange, as it was originally used between 1951 and 1957.
