Tonal balance through spruce and sapele.

The tonewood combination of the Ibanez AEWC13-WK impresses with an expressive sound that is suitable for both solo playing and vocal accompaniment. Thus, the Sapele back and sides deliver an appealingly warm sound with pronounced mids, which the spruce top enriches with brilliant highs and transparency. Meanwhile, the solid top bracing in the form of the classic X-bracing, which has been tried and tested since the beginning of the production of acoustic guitars, provides the necessary stability.

Premium features for pure playing pleasure

The excellent sound is complemented by comfortable playability, which is especially ensured by the compact AEWC body and a Nyatoh neck with Comfort Grip. At the same time, the velvety Macassar ebony fingerboard guarantees effortless gliding of the picking hand over all 20 frets, while a cutaway allows unhindered access even to the very high registers. Inexperienced fingers will also benefit from the shortened 634 mm scale length, which requires less effort to grasp.

The Fishman Sonicore pickup and the Ibanez AEQ-SP1 preamp guarantee ambitious guitarists successful stage performances and studio sessions. Thanks to the powerful pickup system, an unadulterated output of sound and playing style is created, which presents the original Ibanez sound in the best possible way. The 3-band equalizer and volume control also allow the sound to be perfectly adjusted to suit ambient conditions and individual preferences, while the built-in tun er enables precise tuning for a tone-perfect performance.
