The MOTU 10pre is a professional audio interface for studios, producers and creative professionals who demand the highest sound quality and maximum flexibility. With state-of-the-art ESS Sabre32™ conversion, 125 dB dynamic range, Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 connectivity and a 64-channel mixing engine, it sets new standards in precision, performance and workflow efficiency.

The 10pre combines the versatility of a high-end interface with the processing power of a DSP console and offers unlimited expansion possibilities thanks to its AVB network capability. or recording, mixing or live streaming - this interface delivers uncompromising results with impressively low latency.

Analogue precision meets digital control

At the heart of the 10pre is the proven ESS Sabre32™ DAC technology, which guarantees crystal-clear signal reproduction with exceptional dynamics. Every detail of the sound is preserved, from the finest treble to the deepest bass. The ten microphone preamps with -114 dB THD+N and 118 dB dynamic range enable studio-quality recordings, while the Hi-Z inputs also capture guitar or bass signals without loss.

The preamps can be controlled digitally via a computer or iOS device. External compressors or EQs can be integrated directly via the analogue insert paths on channels 1 and 2 - perfect for hybrid setups that combine analogue characteristics with digital precision.

Professional monitoring and mixing

The 10pre offers complete control over monitoring setups - from Stereo to 7.1. Up to eight analog outputs can be controlled together via the Monitor Group, while A/B/C speaker switching and an integrated talkback switch ensure convenient studio workflows.

The integrated 64-channel mixer works with 32-bit floating point processing and offers high-quality sound processing directly in the device. All channels have parametric EQs, compressors, high-pass filters and gates. The internal reverb bus and 26 aux buses offer extensive possibilities for flexible mixing - ideal for recording, streaming or live monitoring.

With the intuitive CueMix™ Pro software mixer, the entire interface can be operated via Mac, Windows or iOS - even wirelessly via WLAN. So you can control the 10pre from any room in the studio or even from your iPad.

An interface that thinks for itself

Whether for podcasting, live streaming or sound design, the MOTU 10pre is a flexible tool. The loopback function allows you to feed computer audio directly back into your DAW, ideal for broadcasts and tutorials. Thanks to DC-coupled outputs, even modular synthesisers can be controlled via CV signals.

Two headphone outputs with independent levels offer individual monitoring mixes, while the ADAT optical interfaces expand up to 16 channels at 48 kHz or 8 channels at 96 kHz.

With the included Performer Lite software, you can get started right away - over 100 instruments, dozens of effects and 6 GB of Loops from Big Fish Audio, Lucidsamples and Loopmasters are already included.
