Classic character, modern control

At the center is a flexible dual oscillator setup with saw, pulse including PWM, sub-oscillator and noise. In addition, there is the Ultrasaw oscillator with up to 9 detuned voices - inspired by Supersaw/Hypersaw legends, but with a much wider sweet spot. This allows you to create sounds ranging from clean and warm to uncompromisingly aggressive with just a few controls.

Filters that really respond

VA-1000 comes with nine filter types, including Roland 24 dB, Moog 24 dB, SVF variants, Peak/Notch and LP Acid 24. The highlight is LP FM 12 for audio rate filter FM - perfect for fluid, lively timbres. The Drive sits either in front of or behind the filter and ranges from round warmth to a biting rave edge.

Movement that lets your Patch breathe

For lively sounds, you have a versatile LFO with eight waveforms, fade in/out and tempo sync at your disposal. There is also a second mod wheel LFO that expressively overlays your basic LFO. Three envelopes (amp, filter, pitch) provide precise transients, punch risers or classic synth kicks.

Studio FX directly in the synth

To make your patches sound big right away, high-quality effects are built in: a 4-mode Chorus (CE3, JP8, AJ2-S, AJ2-M), a character delay with JP-style ping-pong crossfeed and a Lexicon-inspired Reverb with ducking that keeps the dry sound in front. The result: ready-made, wide sounds without extra plug-ins.
