The popular beginner set is equipped with premium Black Nickel Hardware and Hperdrive Toms. These impress with lower depth, resulting in great attack and significantly improved response. Hyperdrive Toms significantly reduce the playing height, the drummer has, despite the 22 inch bass drum, the playing height of a 20 inch bass drum, which is significant. This set offers the powerful attack of a large bass drum, combined with a compact setup.

The shells of the TAMA Imperialstar Drum Sets are made from 8 layers of Poplar wood to form a wall thickness of 7.5mm. Poplar wood produces a full, warm sound combined with a mid-range rich attack. For the best possible sound, the shell bearing edge is precisely cut through a special process to 45° producing a perfectly clean and consistent edge, resulting in a wide range of tunings plus great sensitivity and better response. Low-mass lugs and the patented tom holder system from Tama help retain the shell’s incredible resonance and optimize the vibration characteristics.
The most eye-catching and exciting novelty of this set is the proven Stage Master Hardware Pack. Consisting of an Iron Cobra pedal, a snare stand, a straight and boom-arm cymbal stand, a stool and naturally a hi-hat stand; drummers are provided with extremely robust, long lasting hardware with double-bracket construction leaving nothing to be desired – regardless if professional or bloody beginner.
Included with the Tama Imperialstar Hyperdrive is a cymbal set from the MCS Series from Meinl. These harmonious cymbals are currently the standard for ambitious drummers. Through an incredibly thin lathing process, the bell is highlighted to stand out optically from the rest of the cymbal. This process also results in the bell producing a clear and assertive Ping sound.
