Vic-Firth VicKick Felt Beater VKB1

The Vic Firth VKB1 is a replacement bass drum pedal beater, with a medium hard felt head. While the pedals are constantly being equipped with sophisticated and innovative systems, beaters tend to change very little. Vic Firth has taken on this responsibility and is now presenting three new models named VicKick. The VicKick beaters are available in either wood, felt or fleece; all three feature varying sound characteristics. The improvement of sound quality was top priority in the production of the VicKick series. Especially the shape of the head is noticed immediately. It is equipped with two oval and two round sides. These offer varying play feelings and sound characteristics which can be changed simply by turning the beater. The round sides create a very tonal presence, while the oval side produces significantly more power. The medium hard premium felt head delivers a concrete strike and full bass.
