The Behringer DR18SUB is an active 18" subwoofer delivering 2400 watts of power, designed to provide low-frequency reinforcement for PA setups in live and playback applications. Its integrated stereo crossover allows flexible operation with full-range satellite speakers. In Link mode, the sub passes the entire frequency range to the satellites, while in Xover mode, only signals above the cut-off frequency are sent. The cut-off frequency can be switched between 90 Hz and 120 Hz, adapting the system to different setups. The DR18SUB features a level control for input gain and a phase switch to invert output phase, compensating for potential frequency cancellation between the subwoofer and satellite speakers. Status LEDs provide clear visual feedback for power, signal presence, and input overloads. An RMS and peak limiter offers reliable protection for the low-frequency driver. Capable of producing extremely high sound pressure levels of up to 129 dB across a frequency range of 30 to 150 Hz, the DR18SUB delivers deep, powerful bass for professional live and playback environments.
