Chromatic tuner and multi power supply in one pedal
The Fame LT-920 Power Tuner is a chromatic guitar tuner featuring a mono output signal. The Fame LT-920 can perform the most important functions of the pedalboard, acting as a tuner as well as a power supply for the whole board. With a chromatic and quick-tuning mode of the Power Tuner, up to eight additional 9V DC pedals can be powered by its side connections.
The main features of the Fame LT-920 Power Tuner include:
Quality: The unit itself seems to be well built, but the power adapter that came with it did not provide stable voltage and the tuner did not work with it. I had to use a spare 12VDC adapter from my stock.
Operation: The tuner is as accurate as my other pedal tuners. It works well with the B string of a 5 string bass. True bypass is a good thing in my opinion. When the tuner is off, it's out of the signal chain. When it's on, it mutes the output. Switching is quiet, no clicks in the signal path. The power supply is always on :)
Features: It tunes only to 440 Hz, the reference frequency is not adjustable. There is no always-on mode. The power supply just works, no questions. I power a small pedalboard with it (3 Boss pedals and an MXR bass DI). There isn't any added noise from the power supply.
Price/performance: It's cool to have a tuner and a power supply at a price of a tuner.
