With the Limited Edition Hotshot Telecaster Relic, the FenderCustom Shop brings an instrument to the stage that combines a vintage feel with unique handling. Inspired by the legendary models of the 1950s, the two-piece body was made from selected ash and given a noble Aged Cimarron Red nitro finish, which brings an authentic patina and immediately gives the instrument the charm of a real roadworn instrument. The one-piece maple neck with classic Telecaster headstock is shaped in the comfortable 1957 Soft "V" profile and, together with the 7.25"-9.5" compound radius and 21 narrow-tall (6105) frets, offers the perfect balance of traditional feel and modern playability. The high-quality nitro finish also provides a great look, making the electric guitar an eye-catcher on every stage!

Telecaster with three single coils: Ancho Poblano, Tomatillo and Blackguard for pure vintage sounds
In terms of sound, the Hotshot Telecaster Relic also delivers a spectrum of sounds that covers the pure vintage zeitgeist of the legendary fifties. The hand-wound Custom Shop pickups are responsible for this: a Tomatillo Tele neck pickup, a reverse-wound Ancho Poblano Strat single coil in the middle position and a powerful Crushed '50/'51 Blackguard humbucker on the bridge make this Hotshot Tele a versatile exotic that can do far more than you might think! In conjunction with the 5-way switch and the master volume and tone controls, the guitar opens up an enormous tonal range. From warm, clear-as-a-bell cleans and crisp mid-pickup funk sounds to assertive rock riffs and singing leads with bite, everything is possible here. The instrument thus combines the tonal DNA of the early Fender era with a modern, flexible circuit concept.
