This four string E Bass with its iconic body shape remains one of the most popular designs for good reason, as it consistently offers an ideal playing position and an ergonomic feel whether played while standing or sitting. Its two pickups deliver the right sound for any situation. The single coil in the bridge position adds clarity and definition, while the split coil closer to the neck provides extra punch and the characteristic growl that has defined this bass style for decades. With separate volume controls for each pickup, both signals can be blended seamlessly. The J and D PBJ II Bass is rounded out with four vintage style tuning machines and a hardtail bridge with four individual saddles for each string.
