The Ovation Standard Plus CS24X-7C is a standout roundback acoustic guitar designed for the stage. With its well-thought-out features, it offers unique functionality and excellent handling, making it an ideal choice for live performances.

Woods and construction

The guitar features a laminated cloud maple top with a fine cognac burst finish and a center soundhole. Paired with a Lyrachord body that has a mid-depth bowl, it produces a warm and powerful tone that responds beautifully even to light touches. For smooth playability, the guitar has a Nato neck with an Ovangkol fingerboard. It offers clean intonation across all 20 frets, marked with subtle dot inlays. A 42.8 millimeter wide nut provides ample space for mastering complex fingerings with ease.

Design and hardware

Chrome-plated die-cast tuners are mounted on the distinctive Ovation headstock, ensuring precise tuning and adding an elegant touch. The proprietary Ovation OP4BT pickup system allows seamless stage use, delivering a natural and authentic sound to the amplifier. The preamp includes an equalizer and an integrated tuner for added convenience.
