In a strictly limited edition, Paul Reed Smith presents the PRS CE 24 Special Black Amber, a distinctive version of the renowned Classic Electric that offers expanded tonal possibilities. This bolt-on series guitar features a maple neck in a slim “Pattern Thin” profile and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, providing two full octaves per string. The CE 24 Special delivers exceptional tonal versatility through its HSH pickup configuration: two 85/15 humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions, and an NS-01 single-coil in the middle. Both humbuckers can be coil-split via the tone control’s push/pull function, enabling airy single-coil tones at the neck and bridge. High-quality PRS hardware completes the instrument, including a PRS Patented Tremolo and six Phase III locking tuners for stable tuning. The guitar is supplied with a premium gig bag for safe transport.
