The PRS Modern Eagle VFire Smokeburst is undoubtedly one of the premium models in the PRS Core line-up. First-class tonewoods, versatile electronic features and solid PRS hardware come together here to create a unique instrument. Whilst the mahogany body is finished with a solid maple top featuring a violin top carve, the mahogany Pattern neck features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with iconic Bird inlays. The rich HSH pickup configuration gives the Modern Eagle V a versatile tone. The two PRS TCI humbuckers deliver warm and full-bodied humbucker tones in the neck and bridge positions, whilst the PRS NS-01 single-coil pickup positioned between them expands the tonal range with crisp, clear single-coil sounds. In addition, the two mini-toggle EQ switches allow you to engage individual low-pass filters, which provide a tighter tonal character. A PRS Patented Gen III tremolo and six PRS Phase III locking tuners impressively demonstrate that no corners have been cut when it comes to the Modern Eagle V’s hardware.
