Signature Plus 16 – Analogue mixing desk for studio and stage
The Soundcraft Signature Plus 16 is a 16-channel analogue mixing desk designed for live mixing, rehearsal rooms and recording. With ten mono channel strips, three stereo channel strips, four aux sends and four sub-groups, it offers extensive possibilities for bands, venues and high-end home studios. The included rack-mount brackets also allow it to be fitted into a rack.
Ghost preamps and compressors on ten mono channels
The Soundcraft Ghost microphone preamps are characterised by their gentle clipping behaviour and accept microphone or line signals via combo sockets. All mono channels feature a pad function, a switchable 100 Hz high-pass filter, Sapphyre 3-band EQs and dbx one-knob compressors with harmonic enrichment. Channels 7–10 also feature a Hi-Z switch for the direct connection of high-impedance instruments. The global 48 V phantom power supplies connected condenser microphones.
Lexicon effects with direct access
The integrated Lexicon hardware effects processor enhances the mix with effects available directly within the mixing console. Tap Tempo allows for quick adjustment of time-based effects, whilst settings can be saved via the preset memory.
Flexible outputs and clear monitoring
Four subgroups, four aux sends and ‘Talkback To’ routing enable flexible signal distribution. A separate list bus with PFL/AFL function, separate level controls for the control room and headphone outputs, and a monitor section with mute, dim and mono functions support precise signal control. In addition, there are TRS inserts on mono channels 1–10, XLR outputs for the stereo mix and control room, and an SSM level meter for clear visual feedback.
4×4 USB-C interface for hybrid setups and modern workflows
The Soundcraft Signature Plus 16 can be connected to a DAW via the integrated 4×4 USB-C audio interface. Sampling rates ranging from 44.1 to 192 kHz enable high-quality recording and playback, making the mixing desk a flexible control centre for combined live and recording applications.
