A thickly padded bag is included and protects the instrument perfectly from shocks.
Construction and woods
The GS Mini-e Limited African Ziricote gets its name from its rounded shape, which corresponds to the proportions of the Taylor Grand Symphony. and despite the small construction, the instrument is built very lightly. A solid Sitka spruce top thus provides powerful midrange frequencies, while an arched, laminated body made of African Ziricote enriches the basses with a warm note. At the same time, a flat neck made of Sapele with an ebony fingerboard guarantees a decidedly comfortable feel.
Hardware and finish
Chrome-plated die-cast tuners are set into the characteristic Taylor headstock, ensuring precise tuning of the 6 steel strings. In addition, a Micarta bridge inlay and a 42.8mm wide Nubone nut ensure very accurate intonation across the scale. The rather plain matte finish instrument is rounded off by a generous black pickguard and a three-ring soundhole rosette, which is perfectly matched to the 4 mm dot inlays in the fingerboard.
