The SGM comes with a black Gibson gig bag. The Gibson SGM Cherry Satin is appealing to most budgets with a high quality construction, distinctive appearance and iconic sound.
Sporting the classic SG shape, this model is built with a traditional mahogany body in a thin, offset-double-cutaway style that is cut with the famous double-horned body shape. Bevelled edges provide the player with a more comfortable playing feel and a no-nonsense stripped down look finished in a textured nitrocellulose lacquer. The neck is made from maple and carved to a slim ‘50s SG profile. The fingerboard is rosewood and sports 24-frets with dot inlays and a special 120th anniversary banner design.
Two’61 Zebra Humbucker pickups are fantastically fashioned in a stark cream and black contrast and offer classic humbucker crunch and a depth of tone that compliments the mahogany body beautifully. Each pickup has designated volume and tone knobs that come in the all new black Max Grip speed design for more control whilst playing.
The Min-Etune system by Tronical is fitted to the headstock of the guitar, and works with the guitar's machine heads to automatically tune the guitar in real time based on the built-in switchable tuning presets. The Min-Etune system features 12 factory preset tunings, as well as six user-programmable tunings. The Min-Etune fits subtly to the back of the headstock, ensuring that the guitar's tonal qualities and playability are not compromised.
